Joe Coffee Company was founded in 2003 as a singular specialty coffee cafe in Manhattan’s Greenwich Village with the simple vision of brewing high quality, unique coffees, and creating a welcoming space for the community.
We have since expanded to 21 cafes in New York, with a roastery in Long Island City, yet our mission remains unchanged: to serve excellent coffee with warm hospitality in every one of our communities.

Where do you roast your coffee?
All of our coffee is roasted in small batches by our team of expert roasters at our roastery in Long Island City.
What do the tasting notes listed on your coffees mean?
Tasting notes refer to the complex aromas and flavors inherently present in a cup of brewed coffee. In the same way that a wine may have notes of stone fruit or vanilla, every coffee features flavors and acidity imparted by its unique terroir (origin, microclimate, variety, and elevation) and processing method as well as how it was roasted, and even brewed.

MEDIUM ROAST AMSTERDAM BLEND – Rich, sweet, and comforting, Amsterdam is the perfect drip coffee option for those who seek a deeper roast profile. We select the components for this coffee for their ability to stand up to a more developed roast, without ever tasting over-roasted or smoky. Instead, we pull out classic notes of chocolate, nut, and toffee.
